I’ve worked with David at All About You on and off for two years. He’s my secret weapon if I need to prepare physically for a role. He has helped me with a combination of resistance training and cardio for two to three times a week and I feel strong and confident about my body.
My life can often be hectic and all over the place but sessions with David give me a calmness and focus to deal with all of this and they can actually be quite fun – but don’t tell him that!

David, I want to thank you for putting up with me all this time. I know that I can be hard to train as I am so often not feeling up to par but you have not given up on me and I feel wonderful as a result. In the past where ever I trained, I have managed to hurt myself. Having done so once too often, at various gyms, always with a trainer, I abandoned weights etc for the yoga mat thinking that yoga was for me. I threw myself into it and hurt myself so seriously that it took a year to fully recover – no thanks to my teacher who pushed me a little too hard.
I then took up Pilates which I simply found boring! On a recommendation from my osteopath I eventually met up with you. I didn’t expect to enjoy working out with you nor did I expect that I could ever work out in a gym and know that I was safe and wouldn’t get hurt. I was wrong. You have been nothing but kind, professional and supremely good at your job.
In the time that I have worked out with you I have never been injured by my workouts, you have always put my over all health first and I have lost 18 kilos (almost 3 stone) in weight. When last year I ruptured a ligament and severely pulled another in my foot I doubted that I would ever wear ‘real’ shoes again let alone killer heals. Today I can wear any shoes that I choose thanks to you, your amazing patience and your killer exercises. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
